Service Specification For Liquid Waste Removal

BTS views the following considerations to be important when comparing our service with that of other wet waste companies.

• Cost – Whilst our basic rate will always be highly competitive, we aim not to be beaten on price where a like-for-like service is on offer.

• Visual Inspection – We carry out a superficial visual inspection as a standard part of our emptying service and any abnormalities are then reported to the office, who then inform the customer or to the service or maintenance company concerned.

• Accidents – We hope we never have one but, given this possibility, you can rest assured that we have a comprehensive insurance cover.

• Experience – Although tank emptying is not difficult technically, there have been cases where equipment has been damaged or a tank not emptied properly or cleaned sufficiently due to inexperienced drivers. This is our mainstream activity we know our job.

• Qualifications – For your peace of mind and ours, waste removal requires a degree of judgement with regard to contamination risks.

• Health & Safety - Is of paramount importance and given this fact our drivers have been formally trained to operate vacuum tanker equipment. They are fully aware of health & safety issues with regard to themselves and any person who may be affected by their business activities.

• Customer Service – Because BTS is concerned solely with Tank Emptying, customers receive a particularly high standard of service and our on going interest. We will not be distracted by an upturn in the economy and the increased availability of tank installations and maintenance. We can always be contacted on our mobile ‘out of office hours’ should you have an emergency or just need to speak to someone urgently.

• Presentation – Our field personnel are in uniform and our vehicles are regularly and formally tested and inspected. They are always in safe, clean, working order.

• BTS Personnel - All employees have received a document that is issued for information and guidance with regard to rules of work and conduct.

• ISO 9000 - BTS is a  BS EN ISO 9002 approved and certified organisation.

• Environment Agency - BTS is an environment agency licensed waste carrier
